Ernest Hemingway's Madrid

Ernest Hemingway is one of the world's most renowned writers with numerous classic books including 'The Old Man and The Sea' and 'For Whom the Bell Tolls'. Hemingway was on intimate terms with Madrid having made the city his home in the 1920s and 30s whilst working as a correspondent during the civil war, and also in the 1950s. He wrote a number of his most famous works whilst living in the city.
