The Tired Boston Marathon - Another Magnificent Display of African Runners With Difficult Names
by
Ed Bagley
There is no great resurgence of interest in distance running as the recent 114th Boston Marathon proved once again. The national press did not fall asleep watching the event, they virtually failed to tune in at all.

America's Marketing Nightmare - The Foreign Runners Who Dominate the Boston Marathon
by
Ed Bagley
They ran the 112th Boston Marathon Monday (4-21-08). The triumph was that Robert Cheruiyot (try to say something close to Cherry-ott) of Kenya won his 4th Boston Marathon. The tragedy was that America hardly noticed. It is flat out difficult, nay impossible, to market world-class foreign athletes on American soil, no matter how much they win or how many records they set. Nobody in America seems to care.

The One Runner In the 2011 Boston Marathon The Crowds Are Sure To Adore
by
Ed Mayhew
Of all the 26,800-or-so runners who will be competing in the 115th running of the Boston Marathon, Patriots Day, April 18, 2011, one is sure to get some of the most enthusiastic encouragement from the half-million expected spectators. That runner is the oldest competitor, 81-year-old Clarence Hartley of Young Harris, Georgia.

New Boston Marathon Registration Process
by
Bennett Cohen
During last year's registration fiasco for the 2011 Marathon, the race filled in eight hours, leaving many qualifying runners out in the cold. It took most people 90 minutes or more to register online and penalized those who could not spend that amount time during the day to register.

What Might We Learn From the Boston Marathon Bombings of 2013
by
Lance Winslow
First, one could surmise that such an event as the Boston Marathon Bombing of 2013 was the work of Al Qaeda, merely because of its location and the reality that the Bin Laden family has roots there and Osama's followers might have enough information about Boston to target that city and that event on that day. Still, the event happened on tax day, so one could say that it was a disgruntled Tea Party person - Boston Tea Party, taxes, etc. Still, the way I see it, whoever orchestrated it created the event as a false flag, question is why?

Quick Let's Limit The Number of Ball Bearings People Can Own - Boston Marathon Bombs
by
Lance Winslow
If we want to continue to remain a free country, we must not let the terrorists win. You see, they love to terrorize people and populations, especially folks who may not disagree with them. Personally, as a long-distance runner myself, I was personally offended by the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings. I mean, how dare anyone do something like that at the end of a 26-mile race which celebrates the human spirit, triumph and overcoming adversity.

The Boston Marathon Finish Line After a Nor'Easter
by
Blaine Moore
The Boston Marathon is a race that almost all marathoners aspire to run one day, and with good reason. The race has a lot of history, and although you never know what the weather is going to be like in New England on Patriot's Day you know that the volunteers will do their best to take care of you. The second time I ran the race was right after a Nor'Easter had blown through town, and here are the conditions that I found once crossing the finish line.
