by
Neil Killion
Sometimes I reach back in time for interesting material, but every day that I check the news, new examples keep flooding in. In fact I am writing this on the same day it happened. Politics interests just about everyone as we all have to live with the outcomes.

David A. Coleman
An interesting question has arisen in international law as the world considers what is to be the best way of dealing with the crisis in Libya.
Colonel Gudafhi's Regime continues to battle rebel forces as the country descends into civil war.
The issue of how to deal with the crisis has been contemplated by a number of world leaders with a debate flaring between the Australian Prime Minister and the former Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd who is now the foreign minister.

Kevin Rudd - Dispatched Without Dignity
by
Charlie J Lynn
Kevin Rudd was democratically elected as Prime Minister of Australia. Last week he was dispatched without dignity by a cabal of factional warlords and unelected union officials. Julia Gillard, co-pilot to Rudd's political blunders neatly stepped around his political carcass to portray herself as a cleanskin.

Labor's Vision Reduced to Political Appeasement
by
Charlie J Lynn
Whatever happened to Australian political leadership? Where are the bold visions that brought us the Snowy Hydro Scheme under Menzies, national Medicare under Whiltam, the aboriginal vote under Fraser, reform of our financial systems under Hawke and Keating, waterfront and tax reform under Howard?

Aussie Smart Drink to Address Aggressive Behaviour and Violent Crimes
by
Brendan Mckenna
Australia's Prime Minister Julia Gillard's smart drink idea may not be such a crazy idea. Any promising idea that could reduce crime should be considered particularly In the wake of the UK riots of Aug 2011. With the right type of product it could easily lead to a win win situation. A small pilot study is all that is needed to get the ball rolling. Introducing a smart drug to rival alcohol may be all that is needed to reduce the crime rate, this would have a knock on effect of reducing police numbers. I would not be surprised if drug companies already have or are at least working on a prototype as we speak. "Red Bull" is perhaps the best example of what can be achieved under current laws. If we start today we could possibly have a prototype on the shelves by 2015.
