The Cutting Edge of Truth in 2013
by
Robert D Rogers
May the Lord grant us men and women of God who are thoroughly sound in their knowledge of the word and yet hungry for the spirit of revelation. Lord, deliver us from those who think that they are so spiritual that they have no hunger for the precious word of God. May we be delivered from those who are so flighty that their words carry little or no relevance.

2013 Fairs and Craft Show Trends
by
Rachel S
As the winter comes to an end, more and more crafters are starting to think about the upcoming fair and craft show seasons. Obviously, there is not just a "summer season", and that puts a spotlight on one of the most interesting developments in 2012 fair and craft show trends as well, and this is the fact that some crafters have decided to attend only some of the shows rather than all of them.

2012 - 2013 - Astrology Drives a New Awareness As Movies Portray Cataclysm
by
Christofer French
The Movie is coming out, and there is nothing better than a "Disaster Flick" to keep people traumatized, but what if the Mayans and others are a little bit right? What will happen to our thoughts and ideas and religions if a "Minor Disruption" Causes a New Awareness?

It's Like The M25 Up There
by
Kate Thomas
Reconnaissance satellites, or keyholes, have been orbiting the Earth for over 30 years. Used to take photos for military operations, they circle the globe around 500 kilometres above its surface. Little is known about the full power of these satellites, as the governments that operate them usually keep information about them classified.

A Moon-Sized Mini-World
by
Judith E Braffman-Miller
The search for planets orbiting stars beyond our Sun has been a difficult quest, and their ultimate discovery arguably represents one of humanity's greatest accomplishments. Discovering a planet the size of Jupiter, circling a distant star dwelling in our Milky Way Galaxy, has been compared to seeing light zipping off a speck of dust close to a 1,000-watt light bulb when the observer is miles away. The first extrasolar planet circling a Sun-like star was discovered in 1995--and it was enormous because the method for discovering extrasolar planets favored the detection of giant planets circling fast and close to their parent stars (hot Jupiters). Ever since that momentous discovery almost twenty years ago, planet-hunters have been spotting smaller and smaller distant worlds in the families of other stars--and now, astronomers have announced the discovery of the smallest extrasolar planet yet, circling a star like our Sun! Smaller than the planet Mercury, this bewitching mini-world is only a little bigger than Earth's own Moon!

Whirlwinds On Titan
by
Judith E Braffman-Miller
Titan, the largest moon of the gas-giant, ringed planet Saturn, is also the second largest moon inhabiting our Solar System, after Ganymede of Jupiter. Titan is a bitterly cold, twilight moon-world, veiled in mysterious shadow and dense orange hydrocarbon mist. This bewitching moon is, in many ways, very much like our own Earth long ago, before life emerged here. In March 2013, a team of astronomers announced that this frigid,ocean-covered moon-world may turn warm enough during its summer for violent cyclones to whirl across its weird seas of liquid ethane and methane!
