San Marino - The Oldest Republic In The World
by
Igor G. S
Although completely surrounded by Italy, San Marino is an independent and the world's smallest republic. It can be easily reached by bus from Rimini or you can take the aerial tram from nearby Borgo Maggiore. Don't worry about visas or entry requirements because border control is practically nonexistent here. However, for novelty's sake, you can have your passport stamped at the tourist information office for a fee.

Walking Small on a Holiday - San Marino
by
Tony Maniscalco
Purists looking for a holiday walking in Italy just might nit-pick and point out that San Marino isn't actually part of Italy. That's perfectly true in a legal sense, given that this is a completely independent republic that isn't even part of the European Union; yet as it is completely surrounded by Italian territory it's possible to make a case that, in a very real sense, it is 'in' Italy! Where and what is it?

by
Alun Evans
The Italian country side of the Northeast is picturesque in November. Autumn has arrived, and whilst many of the days are characterised by blue skies that contrast with the yellowing leaves on the grapevines, the evenings are chilly, clean and brisk.

Marino Trivia- How Much Do You Know About Dan the Man?
by
Jennifer Jordan
In the never ending quarterback controversy, different quarterbacks are described by different people as being the greatest ever. Some people believe that Joe Montana, with his San Francisco dynasty, was the greatest. Others think that John Elway, with "The Drive" and his come from behind wins, was top dog. Certain people even argue that Archie Manning, had he ever played for a decent team, would have gone down in history.

A Brief History of Cabo San Lucas - Mexico
by
Natalie Aranda
The first humans most likely came to the area at the southern tip of the Baja Peninsula of Mexico some 14,000 years ago. The isolated area surrounded by the desert and the ocean was inhabited by a tribe of Indians known as Pericu when the first Europeans arrived. The area was known as a hangout for pirates as well.

How to Keep Your Carpets Looking Like New
by
Colleen Weathersen
Think back to when your carpets were brand new. How do they look now in comparison? Is it impossible to tell what the original color was? Carpets are walked on so often they usually get a dirty, dingy color, which lowers their value. If you know the right steps, though, you will be able to keep your carpets looking fresh, new, and stain-free fairly easily.
