Want Success? - Take a Lesson From Lindsey Vonn
by
Bud Bilanich
In this post I want to focus on Lindsey Vonn. She lives in Vail, my favorite Colorado mountain town. I live and do my career success coaching work in Denver, so I think of her as kind of a neighbor. More important, I find her story compelling. Right now, she is the best woman ski racer in the world.

Lindsey Vonn's Women's Ski Apparel Brand
by
Janie Smith
Maria Sharapova leads the lists of world's highest-paid female athlete and the woman skier Lindsey Vonn will likely follows the trail. After Vonn's incredible Olympic victory she had been a household name in the U.S. She even played a small role on NBC's "Law
Order" television show, went to the White House correspondents' dinner. Her annual endorsement income with a company that manufactures womens ski apparel sure contributes to her fat paycheck.

Alpine Ski Races - What to Look For in the Winter Olympics
by
Scott Duglase
The Winter Olympics are almost upon us and Lindsey Vonn and the rest of US Ski Team are prepped for some gold medal runs in Vancouver. But if you're anything like me, your only worry, as you stare over the tips of your rented skis at what could very well be the edge of the earth, is how in the world to arrive safely, limbs attached, at the bottom of the hill.

Successful People Stick With It
by
Bud Bilanich
Successful people commit to taking personal responsibility for their lives and careers. You take personal responsibility for your life and career when you do three things: Doing whatever it takes to succeed -- including sticking with it and dealing with pressure; Setting high goals and then doing whatever it takes to achieve them; Responding positively to the negative people and events in your life.

David Brenowitz
For me writing does not come easy. When I get a thought in my head, I have to get it on paper ASAP, because if I do not, I will forget it.

Passion Vs Obsession
by
Derek Fredrickson
What am I passionate about? Skiing - pretty much everything about it. I ski every weekend from November to April and do the same with my kids. I like other crazy and outrageous outdoor activities but pretty much anything to do with snow on the ground and two boards on my feet will make me a happy camper.

Sweat it Out in the Gym
by
Larry Galler
World Champion Downhill skier Lindsey Vonn has the amazing physical talents necessary to compete at the highest levels of her sport, but all those she competes against also have those talents. She has the support of coaches, trainers, nutritionists, and equipment specialists but so do all the other athletes at the top level of sport. In the off-season Lindsey works out in the gym an amazing seven hours a day working on strength, flexibility, and focus.
